Lockdown 3.0 is coming to an end, with the restrictions beginning to lift and over half the population been vaccinated. The sun has been shining and spring is in the air, I took a little trip out locally to Haworth, Hebden Bridge and the KWVR.

Haworth, Bronte Country

Normally a popular location, this area would be busy with people enjoying the shops, cafes and the surround areas. The top of Main Street, in the village of Haworth, with a little added spring sunshine!

A very picture perfect morning.

Hebden Bridge

Taking a detour on the way home, and visiting another popular location for many reasons. Hebden Bridge at the bottom of the Calder Valley, the whole area is very picturesque. The Cottages are a favourite of many photographers, with the wonderful reflections and framing options surrounding them.

Keighley & Worth Valley Railway

The Railway hasn’t opened yet, I believe this was a driver training or refresher day, also worth to note its been a long time since ‘Big Jim” has been in steam. The first hot day of the year, it was good to see some steam in the valley again and the railway preparing to open in a couple of weeks.
