Tour de Yorkshire at Cote de Leeming

Picked my spot for Tour de Yorkshire towards the top of the massive climb “Cote de Leeming”, just after The Dog & Gun. There was a healthy crowd there to cheer on the peloton, as they reached the top. Long before the cyclist’s arrived the rather poor caravan came through, with a huge police motorbike presence.

The break away group where around 3 minutes in the front of the peloton, with Cote de Leeming winner Dexter Gardias in. Then the peloton came through in one large group, with a single British ride slightly off the pack. Then that was it, the whole show came past in around 5 minutes,little disappointing compared to the Tour de France.
