“Cumbria” running through the countryside, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railway is 4 miles in length, running through unspoilt countryside. A very picturesque journey through the hills, with great views. A great line to shoot steams engines on, as they run Industrial style of engines and this creates a striking image against the countryside.

The weather today, didn’t have a clue what it was doing, sun, rain, wind & a dashing of hail to boot. The weather didn’t help the situation of the original scheduled loco “Welsh Guardsman” failing and being replaced by a diesel until “Cumbria” was ready. I spent a couple of hours in the yard, capturing some different images and close up of the loco’s.
