Purple Heather on Bronte Moors

At the start of 2020, I decided to attempt shooting something different and arranged a few portrait shoots. COVID happened and the ensuring lockdown came into play, which disrupted everything and everyone. In the couple of months between lockdown 1 & 2, the heather sprung up on the moors above Haworth and was in full purple bloom.

I asked Beth, a friend and old work colleague from the Gin Festival days, if she’d be interested in walking around the blustery moors in a white dress. Luckily it was a yes, it was blustery but it worked out well!
