After seven years of sell-out calendars, the Calendar is back for 2027.

This year’s calendar brings together 12 of my favourite landscape photographs from the past year, capturing everything from the Yorkshire countryside and dramatic skies to railways, coastlines and those moments when being in the right place at the right time pays off.

For 2027, all profits from the calendar will be donated to SarcoidosisUK — that’s £6 from every £12 calendar solld, helping to raise awareness and support research into a rare inflammatory condition that has become a very personal part of my life.

Sarcodosis UK raises awareness and supports research into the disease, much of which is currently unknown.

Every calendar sold will help support Sarcoidosis UK and the work they do to raise awareness, support those affected and fund research into a condition that is still not fully understood.

Donating to Sarcodosis UK

A few years ago, a biopsy taken during an operation confirmed that I had Sarcoidosis.

Sarcoidosis is a rare inflammatory condition where small patches of swollen tissue, known as granulomas, develop in different organs around the body.

For me, it predominantly affects my upper respiratory system, causing ongoing problems with my sinuses and eyes, alongside pain, discomfort, loss of smell and taste, ulcers and facial numbness. The condition also affects my joints and muscles.

At the beginning of 2025, complications also resulted in the loss of sight in my right eye after a hole developed in my cornea, which has since left significant scarring.

Treatment includes immunosuppressant medication to reduce inflammation and the activity of my immune system. While it helps control the Sarcoidosis, it also leaves me more susceptible to infections and contributes to the fatigue that already comes with the condition.

Some days are better than others, but photography continues to give me a reason to get outside, explore and capture the landscapes around me.
