High Speed Photography

Recently been testing out High Speed Photography,  and freezing the action. Using High Speed Sync on a digital camera, you can sync your shutter speed with the flash. Normally a faster shutter would miss the short duration of the flash, High Speed Sync solves this. In my setup I use a speedlite to trigger my studio strobes, so I can use them with an extremely fast shutter. The two below shots also required a different trigger method, Welcome the Miops Trigger.

The Miops Trigger, enables you to trigger your flash or camera using various input triggers. The Strawberry Martini Splash below used a laser, once the laser was broke the camera triggered. The simple dropping of the strawberry, was enough to break the laser line. The second image was using the Miops sound sensor, with the firing of a BB rifle to trigger the camera.
