Haworth 1940’s Weekend 2019

Haworth’s spectacular 1940’s weekend, which to date has raised almost £100,000 for charity, has announced that Pilgrim Bandits Charity, the charity formed by special forces veterans to challenge injured service personnel from modern day conflicts is to receive funds raised from this year’s event. The Haworth 1940s Weekend attracts over 25,000 visitors a day throughout the event. Visitors are encouraged to arrive in 1940s costume reflecting life in Yorkshire from the 1940’s. Each year the event has developed a war time theme. During 2016 the weekend focused on the strategic importance of the Airborne Forces. During 2017 the theme will draw on the contribution made by the Special Forces.
